Teachers love me
Generally thought of as nerdy, and popular people would never talk to me. Among the nerds I’m not quite in with them but we get along, and then I’m generally liked among the just above nerdy ranks :D

I’m not popular.

I’m nerdy, but I don’t really show it. I don’t talk nerdy nor study by talking all fancy about George Washington and the Declaration of Independence or integrals or physics stuff, I just know my stuff, basically.

A lot of friends don’t like to hang out with me, so I hang out with more low-key people.

I’m known as the really popular kid. What I’ve started to say this year is, “You can’t be a student at my school and not at least know my name,” and people agree with me on that one! Whenever you see me in the halls, I’m usually high-fiving, nodding at, or at least acknowledging the guy or girl behind, in front of, or to the side of you. You can catch me flirting with girls of all grades on certain occasions, too. Also, my popularity was the reason why I was elected this year’s Homecoming King! Finally, I don’t know why, but I hang with a lot of freshmen this year. It may be weird for a popular senior to hang out with freshmen, but the freshmen this year are actually very cool people!

I’m also known as a band kid. I am hands down the most popular person outside of the band (I actually don’t have too many good band friends). Since I am a percussionist, I am able to do cool moves on the snare, quints, bass drums, etc., and people at my school love that!

The teachers love me because I get great grades in their classes. At the end of my Junior year, my average was 90.9 and my highest and lowest grades were 96 and 87, respectively. My biology teacher said in her letter of recommendation to me that I was, “One of the best students that she has ever taught.” I’m off to a pretty good start this year, too!

I’m actually pretty quiet outside of school. Sure, I have my friends from the neighborhood, but I don’t really hang out with my school friends. This is mostly due to the fact that my town is a good distance away from where most of the students live.

P.S. I also have a really dirty mind and am the “white” black kid! :D

^^so basically you’re a band geek who thinks he has “swag” lol jk jk

@goodnoodle I guess you could say that lol xD Except I don’t “think I have swag,” I do have swag puts on sunglasses and shows a confident face :D

FutureDoc, if I may, I do believe this is what you are looking for:

I’m known as the smart kid who tries hard but my friends always seem to one-up me. I’m a good athlete, I play baseball, so I hang around with my teammates and other athletes a lot. I’m definitely not a “dumb jock”, I like to think I’m pretty smart.

On the other end of the spectrum, though, is my journalism crew since I’m on the school paper. They’re like, the most hipster-ish kids you can imagine, and then there’s me, who can’t dress well for his life. :P

Teachers usually like me. I’m pretty friendly, so I always talk to them during class. They usually like being asked about their mundane personal lives.

I am known as an overachieving nerd (it is fairly accurate).

At my old school, pretty much no one except my friends knew who I was, which suited me fine.
I’ve been here for two years, and because it’s a smaller grade most people know me (though I don’t know many non-IB kids because since I moved here junior year I’ve never had a class with them). I started a club that bakes stuff and gives it away every Tuesday, so most people like me (if only for the free cookies) (:

@CE527M That’s exactly what I was looking for haha! Since I didn’t find it last night, I just settled for the “:D” :P

I’m the slap happy chick.

The violent little miss goody two-shoes…

They also think I’m a church-going Christian…

I’m known as the intelligent one who tries to play it down. Quiet and sarcastic. I don’t get perfect grades, but apparently I look like I do. Articulation? Who knows…
I don’t understand. There are considerable amount of kids in my class who are brighter than me, and I don’t just mean grade-wise, but as individuals. No one believes me.

I find it funniest that people think I’m a good little church going Christian…

I have a friend who is probably the “You’re a genius.” “You’re so sweet.” “You’re mixed?” “You’re Muslim?” “Your dad’s Jewish and your mom’s Muslim?” “If you don’t get into Columbia, it’d be insane.” “Harvard is your back up?” type. Those are all things people think about her. And I’ve been compared to her since 4th grade…

This might be the worst thread I’ve ever read lol… guess I never knew so many people here thought so highly of themselves…

Well it’s kind of hard to talk about yourself without sounding pretentious…

Please tell me you’re being sarcastic about just noticing

Oh, I also have an odd sense of humor apparently…According to like everyone…

.sdrawkcab skalt ohw yug taht sa nwonk m’I

.stobor era sndeirf ym fo lla os, em htiw sdrawkcab klat ot tnaw snamuh rehto oN

^
Reading that literally gave me a headache.

I’m pretty weird, “but in a good way”. Only because I make people laugh. So in class, everyone knows me as that crazy, funny, intellectual kid. I work really hard not tobe “about” my smartness like other kids in my class are.

Outside of class, I’m really different and much more quiet. So the school as a whole only really knows me by my academic achievements. So they think I’m a lot smarter than I really am. Which is okay.

They think I’m a total, antisocial nerd, which is an annoying but completely valid stereotype I work hard to eliminate whenever I get the chance.
