I think I'll have a decent shot at getting some money, but I'm not sure how much they give.

Here are some of my stats:

Will have a 4.2 GPA by beginning of senior year (3.85 UW)
30+ ACT, shooting for a 32+
I'm an Eagle Scout, Eucharistic Minister, School Ambassador, Mock trial, Model UN, Track and Field, and some other clubs. I've had a job since 15.
Next summer(when I'll be a rising senior) I'd like to do something over the summer. I'd love to do TASP or LEAD, but I doubt I'll get into one of those programs, so I may go to a service academy program, work more and maybe take a few classes at a local CC.

What do you think of my chances of getting some merit $?

Thanks

I don’t know for sure, but your def. way over qualified. I think the average GPA is like a 3.1-3.3. You should get some, but Flagler actually is already really cheap. So, I have no idea how much scholarships there willing to give.

Flagler used to be an institution that charged such a low tuition that they considered every student having a form of merit aid, and they only then gave financial aid to those in need. I am not familiar with their current tuition rates. If their tuition remains at about 12,000-13000 (a steal) then other than the names scholarships (there is a list on their financial aid page) I don’t believe they give much merit aid.

Bright Futures at 100% is still worth about $4000 at any instate public or private college/U. So if your are instate, that brings it down to 8,000-9,000.

Check with admissions. A stellar student will probably get some merit aid if your are in the top 5% of incoming freshman.

It would bring your total (room/board & tuition) to about 16k a year if your instate. But Flagler is a very good school and I have considered going there.
