What kind of school is notre damefor me?

so i guess this is kind of a chance thread, but more of a general "is this a target/reach/match ect school for me" question, because i have literally no idea where i would stand in the admissions process. my stats are as follows:

GPA: 100.3 W 98.5 UW
Rank: top 1%, probably either 2 or 3 out of 363

APs- 10 by the time I graduate (4 on world, just took chem, us and lang)

Work:
Play the clarinet for local fire departments in parades (paid)
Tennis instructor for kids ages 6-13, including 2 autistic boys

I will definitely have amazing recs and awesome essays (my guidance counselor loved my first draft and said it was perfect)

oh, and i will be applying most likely regular decision
Thanks for the feedback!

Play up your research, it’s rare for ND applicants to have that extensive a research background. If you get your ACT to the 33-34 range I’d say you’re a lock for admission

Thanks for your input! I will definitely be playing up my research and competitions, hopefully i will go far in a few so i can have that to add as well!

if i were to apply early would it hurt me, since the stronger applicants usually get accepted, and my ACT score as of now is kind of low?

I can’t tell you whether or not it would be advantageous to apply early, but if you email an admissions counselor a couple months before the deadline, they’ll tell you whether it’s best for you to apply Early Action or Regular.

My friend got in early action with a 31! You should be good!

@ballerinawriter thats good to hear! Were her scores/ecs similar though?

Your ecs probably are a little more than heres, but she was a URM, so that might have played in. Honestly, college admissions are so random, you will never know until you apply!

A URM with a 31 is almost an *********t. If you’re white I wouldn’t pay attention to what it takes for URMs to get in.

apparently Auto Admit gets censored?

*********.

yeah, i am a white irish-catholic female from a middle class family lol…no hooks at all
