I'm currently a senior in a Texas High School, applying for college, and I am a bit lost on where I should apply.

Currently I'm applying for things like UT Austin, Tech, and A&M, with the goal for completing a physics degree (possible math dual major).

I'm mostly applying to schools in the state. I've been giving consideration for out-of-state schools like Berkeley and UChicago. My question is how good are my chances of getting in with these credentials.

SAT -1830, 730 Math
ACT - 30, math-35, science 33

Taken Calc BC junior year got a 5

3 Consecutive years of advanced physics (pre-ap, ap phys-B, and physics C this year)

4 Consecutive years of wrestling for my high school (Regional-level junior year)

Speak 4 languages

Taking Multivariable calculus/Matrix algebra at my local university senior year of high school

Doing UIL Science/Math this year (2nd place at district last year. Does not qualify for Regionals.)

Any responses would be great, thanks for your help.

I would say you could get into some of the top schools. Idk where you want the college to be/ other specifics but anything within the top colleges 25-50 (ranking wise) you could have a good chance of getting into.

berkeley and Uchicago may be a low reach

Also berkeley doesn’t hav great financial aid or acceptance for out of state students

Not sure about UT austing and the others because I dont know much about them…

Great Calc BC Score though! I am taking that currently

and 4 different languages definitely make you unique so make sure colleges know that

It is a bit confusing with the information you provided. You seems to be very strong in Math as you did Calc BC in junior and scored 5. However, your SAT Math score is not very impressive. Did you take any subject test?
I guess you are not a native English speaker. As you can speak 4 languages while your reading and writing scores in both ACT and SAT are not good. Although you did not list out the section scores, it is quit obvious just by subtraction.
Anyway, with your current ACT/SAT scores, it is not likely you may get into UCB or UChicago, or other schools in that range. It is too bad that you are just a bit away from the top 7% that would get you into UT Austin directly. However, UT Austin and TAMU may still be your best bet.

I was feeling the same about it tech and a&m. Berkley - I would love to get into but it is really pricey, and I doubt I could afford it without a significant scholarship. What do you guys think about rice/baylor
