Is it limited to autobiographical information ...or can I talk about any experience with something that happened after I submitted my app?

anyone…ok so lets revise the question …is there a way to send additional material after the deadline?

depends on the college

Anything significant enough that might affect your chances of admissions (winning a major award, family circumstances that arise, etc.)

Usually information is sent along with the mid-year report, on a separate sheet

I am looking at MIT …

You can send pretty much whatever you want. What the college will choose to do with it is, of course, up to them. Many colleges ask you not to send scrapbook-type material; e.g., newspaper clippings, photographs, certificates. But a brief written update describing some significant new information that may make you a more attractive candidate (e.g., Intel/Siemens or AIME results) is certainly fair game.

Thanks sooo much. Ir really is helping. :)
