What kinds of calculators do students in business major use?

there's definitely calc & probability stats
i'm not sure what the finance classes require...
is a graphic display okay or is there the need for a financial one as well?
what models do you guys use?

asian people… just kidding

psh silly business majors- they only need a 4 function calculator. Leave it up to the engineers to whip out the TI-89 8)

I hope it’s just 4 function because I am majoring in biz

It depends on the school and professor. For finance, we use the TI BAII Plus because it has the ability to solve a lot of finance problems, particularly TVM, very easily. Still, I like my TI-84 and will possibly get a TI-89 for my math-intensive business classes.

TI-84 has been fine for me in accounting.
I don’t know about finance, because I’ve only taken the intro finance course needed for accounting, but all other majors in the business school don’t need any special calculator. They don’t really even need a brain.

Just bring half a brain and basic algebra skills and you’re ready for b-school.

Fisher Price ones

j/k

The real engineers use matlab. graphing calculators are soo high school.

fingers ftw
