What labs

Are essential or performed in an AP Chemistry course?

Before I continue on in my self-study of AP Chem, I want to know what labs are done, so I can get the materials to do so.

My class has already done over 20 labs… Try looking on collegeboard’s website? Or a review book might have a list of essential labs

Thanks, I’m looking at the lab program description on CB.

Heat labs and titration labs. That’s all i remember lol.

^ Titration is really important. The lab where you determine stuff about a gas by putting it in a beaker of water is important. And of course potassium chlorate+gummy bear.

Really… that’s it?

Wow.

[Advanced Chemistry with Vernier](http://www.vernier.com/cmat/chema.html)

We just follow the AP labs on the side in order

We only do titration in my school, haha.

Determining the molar mass of stuff

finding the rate law and then predicting the time taken for a solution to react and change color.

Testing Lechateliers principle

Le Ch

I forgot.

It was something about alum… which reminds me, I lost the lab book…
