I am making my schedule for next semester and I have to take a language starting from intro and through the intermediate level. I am considering either Spanish, Latin, or Italian. I took a couple years of Latin in high school, but I forget most of it. Could anybody give me some insight on how difficult these programs are at ND? I'm trying to keep this class as easy as possible because I have a few other classes that will be very difficult in the coming semesters. Thanks!

Don’t know about Latin or Italian, but my S has been pleased with the Spanish program at ND. He had several years in HS, but was not proficient. He choose Spanish at ND becuase he thinks it will be most useful the rest of his life. As always, the quality of the class will depend upon the professor. However, he’s had a different Spanish prof every semester and seems pleased with them all.
