<p>You were not looking very hard. There are dozens of langauges:</p>
<p>African Languages (CAAS 226)
American Sign Language (LING 251)
Arabic

<p>No. The only time a foreign language would be useful in Finance would be if you were actually born/raised in that particular region. Finance jargon is technical jargon, so while 4 semesters might make you conversationally fluent, there is no way you’d be competent enough to translate technical financial documents.</p>
<p>@scott, if you’re asking if a particular language would be useful for the corporate finance world (as opposed to finance jargon, it wasn’t completely clear), then it would be languages that predominate in growing countries. while english is the primary language spoken in the corporate world today, basic mandarin chinese, german, or spanish would be helpful.</p>
