<p>I also recommend Asus laptops. I bought a 14in one about 3 years ago. It was top of the line at the time, and it’s still pretty good, never had a single problem. Good processor, high res for a 14in screen, and nice dedicated video card.
A couple of days ago I saw this deal for a 15in for about $800 and it had a 9800m video card, 2.5GHz processor. </p>
<p>Another good option which I’m definitely considering for my next upgrade is to go for a netbook + desktop.</p>
