I had a ship one, that actually floated and you could hook it up to an engine and propeller too!

I never really had legos. I was a loser and had Duplos...

I built a space shuttle out of Legos. I think it's somewhere in the dust corner of my room.

I had pink legos. I built little feminine houses out of pink and purple legos. it was awesome.

I had tons of legos. I must have gotten atleast 100+ large sets (I'm talking big stuff like the islands, pirate ships, etc.) Not only did I get that my cousins gave me all of his so I had 1000's in extra pieces. Towards the end of my Lego days I got the Lego Mindstorm, Droid Mindstorm and 2 extra expanison kits. After I out grew them guess what happened? A couple of years later my bro started playing with them. Let the building countine.

In my days, we had to design things OURSELVES. None of this hoighty toighty instructions!

We were pioneers, I tell you! PIONEERS!

Yeah yeah old timer...lol j/k UCLARri ;) I used to have couple of the alien spaceship ones. they were pretty cool, had one on top of a shelf over my bed, during a small "earthqueake" ( I don't really know the word, its not an earthquake,in spansih its called a temblor) it fell and I was to lazy to rebuild it.

ppl give me sets as presents but after following the instructions once i never did it by them again...

so far, i have 6 gen of lego cars that had: front wheel steering, rear wheels connected to either V2 or V6(twice V6 cuz i got more sets) engine, suspension (only the 5th gen had it on all 4 wheels and gen 1 didnt have any cuz i didnt have enough springs for more than one wheel), gen 4 carried the powerpack so u push a button and it'll drive itself (too heavy to try again tho, i had 6 wheels and 4 wheel drive so turning almost useless), they all had completely different powertrain, chassis, gun placements (does shoot anything but looked realistic) and engine mount setups

gen zero was a bicyle w/ no pedals and a dirtbike style suspension, i tried to use as little pieces as possible while still having dirtbike looks, it looked more transparent than lego usually does

i made a sub that floated but thought it was not technical in any way so didnt try again

then i a couple of helicopters: main/tail rotors, and one w/ two large rotors fore and aft. can anyway make one w/ two rotors on the same axle that have opposite spins like the russians?

hmm, maybe after i get old i'll try to make a offsprey style rotation propeller one... or maybe they'll have other things that i get interested in

I had this big red tub of legos. No individual sets, I believe. Or maybe we had a couple house sets since we had furniture and all.

I also had K'Nex.

Ahh good days! I used to get in trouble ALL the time for leaving my legos and K'Nex out on the floor. :P

I'm gonna go play with them as soon as second semester senior year is here!

so yea i guess i go w/ old men on this one... and i never touched the non technical set except to get large pieces either

ugh, i hate tepping on legos. or hotwheels cars.

I hate tepping on things too.

How do you tep on things, anyway?

oh, tepping is what happens when my hand doesn;t tap the s key.

ech, its an online forum.

i had the one where you can build anything you want.............i love legos...............OH WHERE IS MY CHILDHOOD>>>>I WANT IT BACK

Martha,

It may be an online forum, but that doesn't mean that I can't make fun of you for a typo.

she is gone for the night.............hows it going uclari.......hows your chinese gf doing?

MCAT prep. Stressed.

Applying for medical school? Good luck.

K'Nex. I have an airplane built out of that.
