<p>Overall though, I'm disappointed in the female population. If the situation were reversed: 7 straight guys for every 2 females (a la Caltech style)...they'd be treated like goddesses. Not so much for the guys here. :(</p>

<p>As for the way you're being treated by the elegible ladies of NYU, firewalker, two tips:</p>
<p>1) If they're jerks, you don't want to be dating them anyway.</p>
<p>2) Treat the ladies like goddesses and you're more likely to find one for yourself.</p>
<p>I'm not saying their jerks...but their priorities are mixed up.</p>
<p>And number 2 is easier said than done.</p>

<p>i just came from an all girls school and as much as i love NYC, i just cant help noticing the abundance of females. its true, ok? there are a lot of girls and gay guys and some straight guys. and i could be going to ucla which is five times less but i still love nyu....</p>
<p>I chose NYU because it is the only school in the U.S. to have a MPH in Global Public Health. Only two other schools in the world have a similar program and they are not as strong as NYU's in my opinion. </p>
<p>If I was choosing a school based on it alone and not considering what major I wanted to obtain, then I would choose only the eight Ivy League schools, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge over NYU. These choices show how much I view NYU's academic reputation.</p>
