If I want to pursue a medical career, what different majors are there?
I always see "Biology", "Chemistry", "Biochemistry", etc... on colleges' lists of majors. I'm asking what career do people usually majoring in Chemistry wish to pursue? Same with Biochemistry and Biology- what types of careers are people who are majoring in those fields typically focusing on?
Thanks, responses would be nice!

You can majoring anything as a pre-med as long as you the bio, chem, physics prereq. Major in what you enjoy, not what you think might impress the med school most.

^ he is 100% correct. Although, some people claim that majoring in Chemistry enhances your chances of acceptance into Med-school. I don’t know if this is true or not. I want to go into Pre-Med, with a major in Neuroscience.
