I plan on attending UT Austin, however there is no 'pharmacy' major. Do I just major in chemistry or biology then?

Biochem + anatomy course/series + 1 economics and communications course covers all the prerequisites.

I was wondering the same thing…a friend of mine is doing chemistry…i’m actually wondering what i should choose as well…:S i think biochemistry (especially) /biology/chemistry would help with the prereqs

I have a friend who’s pre-pharmacy and a history major. But, as a chem major, most of the people I meet are pre-med or pre-pharm or along those lines. Biology is another good pre-pharm major. But, isn’t pharmacy school like med school, where as long as you get in all the required classes done and take the PCAT instead of the MCAT, you’re doing alright for it?
