What major is best for language interpretation and translation?

Hey everyone! I'm a high school student in my junior year and the subjects I study at school are Math, Accounting, Business Studies, Informatics Practices(Computer Science) and English. I want to become a professional language interpreter/translator in foreign languages. Currently, I'm fluent in English and Japanese and 3 of my native regional languages. I'm also in the process of learning German and Korean and wish to learn as many languages as possible. Since I love languages so much and visiting different places and experiencing different cultures seems fascinating to me, I decided on this as my future career. So I'm wondering what kind of major would complement my choice since there isn't exactly a particular one for this kind of job? People wanted me to go for Literature or HR, but I don't really know. I also wish to do an MBA after the completion of my major. Can you please suggest majors I would be interested in?

For MBA your major doesn’t matter so much, it is all about the work experience in management that you have. Worry about that later after you have proven yourself. An MBA without work experience is useless and quality schools will not take you anyway How does an MBA help someone doing language interpretation? or vice versa?

Since you have so much language study it might be interesting to study something that would complement it, like international relations. Possibly political science. Since you know the kind of job you want, find out what education those people have. Or people who work at international organizations, like the UN, WHO etc.
