What major is best for pre-med?

I know that medical schools don’t favor one major over another, however, I do wonder what major is best in terms of MCAT scores, acceptance rates and (possibly Plan B).
I was accepted for the Integrative Physiology major for Boulder, however, I was thinking about switching over to Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology.

I heard that MCDB offers a better “idea” of the MCAT… Is this true?
If I were to be rejected from medical school, what would a degree in IPHY vs. MCDB offer me? (Job-wise)?

I’m senior too. I don’t have any personal stories but I have friend and family who are in pre-med. when you pick major, pick that interest you the most, so it will be easier for you to get good grade and get into medical school. Anything less than a masters degree won’t get you much of a job in physiology field but it’s considered a good major if you are planning to go to medical school.
