I can't decide what major I should take as an undergraduate for veterinary medicine. I want to be a vet surgeon, so I'd like to take anatomy or physiology but I've heard animal sciences is the best for a vet; It looks terribly boring.

I know I'm taking zoology as a minor, I just have to find a major.

You can major in anything at all provided you complete the pre-vet course sequence - just like pre-med students can. Many pre-vet students who are at Ag colleges major in Animal Science because it is a major that makes it easy for them to complete the pre-vet coursework and gives them experience dealing with large animals.
