what major should I choose?

Hello everyone, This s my first time to speak in Colledge confidential. I have been working for two years, I am working in a PR angency, which supports those IT companies. My clients are HP, Microsofts, and Juniper Networks.The main responsibility of my job is planning external and internal communication activities(Such as the product PR promotion, CSR, and some marketting events, social network promotion) for those companies, and then be an excusive in those company.

Now I really want to apply for a good university which have interesting master program of my working field, and I prefer the program which could help me to deep underestand the PR or Marketting field, to create more effective promotion activities, and to use the critical thinking and scientific tools to explore the marketting effects. And more importantly, I could practice those in futher work. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Is my working experiences helpful? I’ll really appriciate that.

It sounds like your job is mostly marketing and communications, so I think a master’s program in either marketing or communications (or some combination of both) is what you want to pursue. There are tons of master’s degrees in those areas. You could also get an MBA and concentrate in marketing.

Do you want something local to where you currently live, or are you going to move and attend full-time?

Also, when you report your GRE scores, it’s more helpful if you report the verbal and quant section scores separately.
