<p>I’d say stay broad and study jsut general biology as an undergrad IMO</p>
<p>biology and international studies as that stuff is all going to China and India.</p>
<p>I would get an MD. At least you can still be a doctor if you discover (inevitably) that there a no decent jobs in medical research. Most of that is as I’ve said been off shored and the rest done by post-docs in academic labs many of whom ironically don’t have insurance or access to medical care.</p>
<p>Biology or biomedical engineering would be the standard choices here.</p>
