What major should I get in the business field to create my own practice?

Hi everyone! I have this question, “What major should I get in the business field to create my own practice?”. I want to major in Biology and Business, but not sure which specific housing for the business field to create my own medical practice. So, I hope you can answer this question please. Thanks!

Tens of thousands of physicians “create their own practice” without a business major.

How? Do they just rent/buy a place and get people and build up?

This isn’t something physicians need to be concerned with until the end of residency. Have you even been admitted to college?

No. But I’ll be applying

You’d better read up on the future trends in healthcare https://www.acponline.org/running_practice/delivery_and_payment_models/ while you are also hoping to get into Yale with a B+ average. Many expect that most private (solo) practices will be gone in the next decade or so, as insurance reimbursement models and healthcare trends shift to group, often hospital owned interdisciplinary or integrative practices and performance (outcome) based models in healthcare reform grow. Trends are for reimbursement to be outcome based, and bundled in what are sometimes called healthcare homes.

Often they join or form partnerships with other physicians. You’re about fifteen to twenty years too early, friend.
