Hi everyone I am a first year college student.
I need help choosing a major right for me.
I love to travel. That is the one thing I must do in my life during or after college.
I love kids and old people. I especially love helping people.
I love learning. Whatever I do I want my brain to be constantly working. I love a good brain challenge.
I am really good at math and writing.
I am currently an Ag Business student because I also love learning about how I can feed the world.

All of these interests are pretty vague and could fit a wide variety of majors. You can travel a lot in a variety of jobs that come from a variety of majors - or you can travel in your spare time. Lots of different kinds of jobs can lead to working with kids or old people, and helping people, and any major will lead to learning.
Think about a set of careers that you might be interested in, and what majors you might need to get into those careers (keeping in mind that many careers don’t require a specific major or a narrow set of majors). At the same time, flip through the course catalog at your college and read through the classes of majors that appeal to you right now. Which classes seem interesting? Which departments could you see yourself taking 10-15 classes in over the course of 4 years? As you start to zoom in on a specific set of majors, register for some classes in those majors - experiment, and get a feel for what you might like.
