What Makes a Good Teacher? Not Necessarily Credentials.

<p>The following is a link to an interesting article from The New Yorker magazine on the skills sets that make good teachers and how difficult it is to predict who would make a good teacher.</p>

<p>One of its implications (although certainly not the point sought by its author to be made) it seems to me is that homeschooling's emphasis on one-on-one interaction between parent-educator and child-student is more likely to lead to educational success than are traditional teaching credentials, certifications, and ever higher teacher standards.</p>
