<p>I hear from a lot of people that Chem 3A is a weeder class that is really difficult. That the test averages are 50% and quite a few drop the class. I am wondering what makes this class so difficult? Is it like Chem 1A, where more emphasis is placed on concepts rather than math, however the concepts for 3A are more complicated?</p>
