I visited James Madison last year and I liked it a lot from what I saw. I want to have a career in either Organizational Industrial Psychology or go Pre Med and be a Psychiatrist. JMU is in my top three right now so i want a student to talk to me about what makes it so special and if it would be a right fit for me. Im althletic, outgoing and I play percussion. Kust need help deciding what school will set me up for the most success.
Originally I was torn between JMU and U of Alabama. I am here at James Madison and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The atmosphere here is incredible. Campus is beautiful. David Daniels is the absolute best psych professor ever (I’m a psych major). If you enjoy going out to parties, there’s definitely that. The food is good, so thats a plus too. Honestly it’s just such an amazing place. I love it, I feel like I am at home here.
Seriously everyone at JMU is so nice and is really there to help you. I don’t think that I have been to any other school where you can walk up to anyone and instantly make a connection. There are so many fun clubs and the UREC (gym) is free and has some really fun classes. The professors care about their students and really want you to learn. With so many easy way to get involved, a great party atmosphere, wonderful food, and professors who care, what more could you want? Seriously go to JMU, I’m on Thanksgiving break right now and I already want to go back.
