how are the ILR prelims?

and how are hotel prelims?

My roommate had a practical freshman year where he had to follow a maid around Statler and fold sheets. I'm sure it was very challenging.

Ouch! ;->

the two prelims i described in the "slide 4 line 5 word 3" were both ilr prelims. the stats one was also ilr. the midterm i just took with 2 essay questions was ilr as well. Be prepared to study your butt off if you want to do well on an ilr prelim. The majority of students do fine (by fine, i mean around a B as average). The average prelim grade for my labor econ class was a C+. Work hard, read alot, memorize tons of facts and you'll survive an ilr prelim no problem.

gomestar what year are you in ilr?

junior (10 characters)

The thing I remember about prelims is that they are much more structured. They only occur twice a semester and at very specific times--7:00 pm when I went there. That's not to say that a professor cannot give an exam during class time, but prelims felt much more like a final than just another test...

...I remember walking to olin 200 (the big lecture hall) for biochem prelims through mountains of snow and it was cold and dark.... gawd that sucked.
