What math class did you take when?

9th - Integrated Math 3 (mix of trig, geometry, algebra 2, etc.)
10th - IB1 Math Methods SL (aka Precalc)
11th - IB1 Math HL
12th - IB2 Math HL

Last two courses combine to form IB Math HL, which is basically AP Calc BC x 10.

My school does it weird apparently:

8th: Gifted Geometry
9th: Gifted Algebra II
10th: AP Statistics
11th: Precalculs/Gifted Analysis (whatever you want to call it)
12th: AP Calculus AB

I've suggested to my school that we take out AP Stat and do Calc AB junior year and BC senior year, but they said no. What evil people.

7th-Algebra I
8th-Algebra II
9th-Geometry
10th-Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus
Present-Calculus AB
12th-Calculus BC

I live in this backwater state called Arkansas.

i'm in MI (ten char)

7th-Algebra I
8th- Geometry
9th- Algebra II
10th- PreCal
11th- Cal I and Cal II- through infinite series
12th- Multivariable Cal and Linear Algebra and Diff eq 1

algebra Part 1/ Algebra Part 2
Geometry/ Algebra II
advanced Functions and modeling/ Trig
Intro to college Math/ AP stats

we have to take two years of precalculus:

7th - algebra I
8th - geometry
9th - algebra II
10th - functions, statistics, and trigonometry (precalculus 1)
11th - precalculus and discrete math (precalculus 2)
12th - ap calc

9th-geometry
10th-alg 2
11th-precalc
12th-ap calc ab

that's as advanced as they'll let you go unless you use an extra block to double up on math classes or something. (and i never have any of those) :/ its ****ing weak.

9th - Algebra I
10th - Geometry
11th - Algebra II
12 - Trig, Pre-Cal

All honors. I didn't have the time nor inclination to go to summer school so I'm not taking Calc.

Las Vegas, NV.

8th - Geometry
9th - Honors Algebra 2
10th - AP stat, Honors Trig Pre-calc
11th - AP Calc 1 (AB test)
12th - AP Calc 2 (BC test)

however, I skipped a year, most in my school never get to BC
South Jersey

random quesh for all of you multi kids, what math course do you plan on taking in college ur freshman year? are you retaking multi or doing linear algebra? i really dont know how the system works, is multi the equivalent of calculus II in college? also, do colleges give credit for multi? someone please explainl...

in high school im gonna do:
9th: H Precal
10th: AP AB cal
11th: AP BC cal
12th: Either multivariable cal or statistics

One of the faculty at my next school said it's better for your resume to take a cal class senior year, rather than statistics. is this true?

from Arkansas:
8. Alg I
9: Geometry
10: Algebra II
11: AP AB Calculus (took trig over summer)
12: Multivariable calculus (could have taken number theory, diff eq, linear algebra...but i don't like math)

8th - Advanced Algebra I
9th - Honors Algebra II
10th - Honors Geometry
11th - Honors Precal
12th - AP Calculus AB / AP Calculus BC

8th-algebra I
9th-geometry
10th-algebra II
11th-precalc or BC part I
12th- calc AB or BC part II

8th:Algebra I Hon (AB)
9th:Geometry Hon (AA)
9th:Algebra II Hon (BB)
10th:Pre-Calculus (Honors weighted)...(BB)
11th:Calculus I(AP weighted, at CC)...(AA)
11th:College Geometry (Honors weighted @ CC, summer, GPA booster)
11th:Finite Math (Honors weighted @ CC, summer, GPA booster)
12th: AP Calculus BC(GPA booster)
12th: Calculus II (AP Weigheted @ CC, 1st sem GPA booster)
12th: Calculus III(AP weighted @ CC, 2nd sem, GPA booster)

1-8: Crap
9: Math A
10: Math A/B
11: Math B
12: Pre-Clac

Probably will take calc over the summer.

Long Island, NY public school

9th grade: NY Course III math (its like combined algebra, trig, geometry, we have a weird system)

10th grade: Pre-IB (pretty much a precalc class)

11th grade: IB Math Methods SL

12th grade: AP Calculus BC and AP Stats

Public School in Kodiak, AK (not that anyone will know where that is hahahaha)

7th grade = Advanced Pre-Algebra (actually got high school credit)
8th grade = Advanced Algebra
9th grade = Geometry
10th grade = Honors Algebra II
11th grade = Honors Pre-calculus
12 grade = AP Statistics

6th - Pre-Algebra
7th - Algebra
8th - Geometry
9th - H Algebra II
10th - H Trig/Intro to Analysis
11th - AP Stats
12th - AP Calc BC

could've taken Calc AB this year, and then BC and Stats together next year........ but my guidance counselor = retarded. 6-8th grade isn't honors cause there are no honors classes in middle school, just in high school.
