What math?

I am a prospective Econ major (freshmen), and was wondering what math to take.

I took Got a 4 on the BC Calc (5 AB) my junior year... but havent had math since...

so should i retake calc to brush up (and boost my gpa) or go on further? (I really like math, too...)

Thanks

heh im in a smiliar dilemma, im a "possible" econ major, and i got a 5 on the AB this year though. if you know ur going to defintely do econ, i think you should take 1A over again...unless u remember your stuff, maybe u should just try 1B straight up, if u like math you must be a math type of person, hehe.

i myself am thinkin of skippin math till 2nd semester (no room, because i want to take econ 1, and korean 1A, and english 45B) and going straight to math 1B in 2nd semester....if its too hard ill drop it and switch to 1A. although i really dont know much. hopefully some very knowledgable person will reply now and help both of us!

If you really like math, do 1B. You'll find yourself reviewing some material from Cal BC at the beginning. The review time would consolidate your basics and get you ready for the more challenging part of the course.
Also, it's nice to take chance and to challenge yourself. It'll be more rewarding in the end.

thanks guys
