I'm not too sure about which meal plan to go for? Or if i'd even go for one, or if its even an option to not go for one?

Entailing why i'm asking and starting this thread...

:)

What's everyone choosing?

geez! why are their nothing but UCSD/UCLA/UCB threads?

no love for irvine/davis?

congrats for your ucla acceptance though, sure you worked hard. +1

I’m having trouble deciding between 14P or 19P.
The cost difference between the two is around 200 dollars. So I might end up just choosing the 19 one.
I usually do eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner so that’s probably the best choice for me.

Just to throw my two cents in, you’ll probably end up eating on campus less than you think you will. Whether it’s because you skip breakfast for an early class or you go out for dinner or get food from trader joes or whatever, all I’ve heard from the people I know who go to LA is to go with a low one (especially since transfers tend to go out more than frosh/soph).

Interesting, Leif.

Where can I view the pricing for each plan?

I was considering getting the most popular 3 meals a day plan…but being placed in Rieber Terrace and being told its the further away from campus i’m beginning to rethink this…

Secondly, can I swipe in to dinner on a sunday night and take the meal to go, to have at Rieber Terrace?

But then again, isnt there dining options at Rieber Terrace? Wouldnt the meal plans allow for me to eat there as well?
