I'll prolly go for the 14 meal/week $230 points

ditto.....

ditto ditto

i'm doing 20 + $50, 'cause I'm a growin' boy ;)

Hm. This is clearly split by gender. I'm also gettin 20 + $50.

it doesnt matter which meal plan you get because you can change your mind within the first 2 weeks of the semester. Personally, i would recommend the 14 meal a week plan because I don't know anyone who makes it to all 3 meals a day for the whole week, and having only 14 meals can sometimes force you to go up to nassau street or do something else every once in a while. I know that I have never used all 14 meals, and I regularly only use about half of my meals. The points issue is debatable because ppl tend to rarely use point because of latemeal, although I had $50 worth of points this year, and I am getting the larger plan next year.

same as cevonia and phil here. yep there clearly is a gender split here :)

definitely :D

Edit: I like to EAT :D

I rarely eat breakfast anyway so whats the point of 20 meals :p

ec1234 - So are you recommending more points over more meals?

id recommend the points over the meals because dining hall food gets old after a while, and it really is very very hard to use all of your meals. Everyone I know (including guys) has a 14 meal a week plan, and I dont know anyone who uses all their meals, plus the points can be used at C-Store, the healthy eating lab, cafe Viv and chancellor green. What I would actually recommend to many ppl would be to get the cheapest meal plan and use the extra money for trips up to nassau street, the wa, or at the icahn cafe which doesnt accept points. I'm not sure how the financial aid works with that though.

I put the 14 + all the points

ec1234 -
C-Store,healthyeating lab, cafe Viv accept cash too?

C-Store,healthyeating lab, cafe Viv accept cash too?
Yes

Get the 20 meals + 50 points. 1 Point = $1 but the way the meal plan works, it seems cheaper to just use money. The 20 meals + 50 points is by far the best deal, and sure, you may not use all your meals but in my experience, it is the best meal plan to have. Sure dining halls get boring but you can use your meals at Frist anyway. If your looking for the best deal, 20 meals is the way to go. Even if you don't use all the meals, its marginally more expensive than the 14 meal plan.

yup a gender divide!
i am going for a 20 meal + $50

i got 20 meal + 50 points but most likely that will change to 14 meals + max points

What plan does your bro have?

I got 14 + 230 points, because for breakfast I only ever eat a cup of cereal and I figure I can keep that and my milk in my dorm room.

What sort of foods can we buy with our points?

Yeah the 14 Meals + 230 points seems like the best plan for me too. I rarely eat breakfast and I can't imagine the dining halls would still be open when I normally wake up.
