What Med School Require Literature?

I asked this before but it also wasn't answered. I go to cornell and the freshman writing seminars count as english composition but not literature. So by not taking english literature and only taking english composition for 2 semesters, to how many medical schools would I be restricted from applying? Which schools?

I need to find out soon so I can decide on my second semester courses.

Thanks in advance.

It would be better for you to research this yourself, since generally a lack of a response indicates that none of us actually know the answer.

With that said, I'm going to make something up and refuse to assume liability should you get bitten for following this. This sounds reasonable to me:

I don't think any medical schools specifically require literature, just "English".

I agree with the above. I'm in the application process now, and schools just wanted "English courses". The literature courses that I've taken have been writing intensive, so it's not as if a lit course is just "read the book and talk about it in class." You're still going to have to analyze and communicate.
