Hey, just a question I was curious about

Are most of you guys (if youre submitting it by snail mail) typing out the applications using like adobe acrobat, then printing them? Or do you print them, then handwrite the stuff?

I used Adobe Acrobat and printed them all out.

ditto :) my handwriting is far from perfect.

I handwrote my application (the one that came in the mail).

yeah i did mine with adobe. Do schools prefer one way over another? Typing looks more professional and neat, but handwriting looks more like human and dedicated to the school, because everyone does everything on the computer these days.

I did mine with adobe also, just because it looks more professional. They can see I took the time to present myself well.

Wow. As long as its legible, I really don't think it matters. No admission officer will say, "Hmm... Great applicant, but he/she hand-wrote the application. Rejected!"

Adobe Acrobat is your friend :). I use it for all of my apps.

Right. Writing it out by hand won't get you rejected, but using Acrobat certainly can't hurt either!

right yeah. of course it doesnt really matter. but you never know, they may have a sort of preference. Like i believe Brown used to make their applicants hand write their essays to ensure theyre not just like printing out another copy of an old essay.

Brown still makes you handwrite one page of their application, just so they can recognize that you're a real person.
