So, like many of you, I'm an anxious senior counting down the days til April 1st.

My question is about what scholar programs are offered at UVA. I know that there's the Jefferson Scholar, which I guess is full tuition but very few people get.

At William and Mary there's Monroe and Murray scholarships, as well as the William and Mary Scholarship, which offers full tuition.

So my question is: Other than Jefferson Scholar, what and how much money can you get at UVA? If anyone goes to UVA and got a significan amount of money, how was that money obtained?

Thanks so much, I look forward to your responses!!!
:)

I believe the majority of aid given is need based. I believe there are other scholarships with specific criteria that you indicate your eligibility for on the UVA financial profile (the online form through SIS).

Hope this helps. Spend some time on the website under AccessUVA if you haven’t already. Good luck!
