For many of the clubs that i participate in i will be president probably junior or senior yr.

thanks in advance for the feedback.

You are off to a great start. Make sure to take on leadership positions in the SeaCadets too (what unit are you in? - son Mike is here in NJ).

The one thing you haven't had a chance to nail down yet are your SAT's. Make sure to take a prep course and NAIL the Math section. Average SAT's and your resume might get you in, but 700's in math along with your other stuff will make you tough to beat....

Learn how to write 500 word essays - lots of them in the application process. Keep your nose clean both from a legal aspect as well as medically (no vision correction, etc.). And contact your Blue and Gold officer now, just to say "hi - I'm coming your way soon". :)

Good luck and read everything you can on this forum - it's full of great stuff.

useagle: follow the advice offered above! Good for you to plan so far ahead! Continue to add some solid math /science courses going forward (calc- chem- physics)- establish those relationships with your math/english teacher - you will need recommendations from them- and definately call your BGO! Best of luck!

i am in the alexandria division in virginia, but i live in Rockville, Maryland. What rank is your son? Navy2010, good luck at Naval Academy and do not let the upperclassmen put you down. My friend just finished his plebe year so, if you have any questions ask me and i can fill you in on the answers. Good luck to you both!
