What music are you listening to?

Currently listening to students whispering quietly and the swish of papers being turned in the books. Yes, I am in a library, and finals, sadly, are next week.

Consequence - The Notwist

postal service.

I listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
They are widely considered the best American band ever, especially in the south and overseas.
Most of them died in a planecrash in the 70s.
There is currently a band touring called "Lynyrd Skynyrd", but don't be fooled. It is nothing more than a tribute band trying to live on the original's legacy.

I have never heard Lynyrd Skynyrd referred to as the best American band ever, and I write for a music site. They're good, don't get me wrong. I love Tuesday's Gone, Simple Man, Freebird etc. , but they're not even the best Southern Rock band. The Allman Brothers are better.

The Doors are generally considered the best American band, while the best American artist is usually either Bob Dylan, Neil Young, or Hendrix. If you want to go back to the roots of rock the greatest American artist has to be Elvis, even if I don't like his music.

well i can't say best band but best southern bad i think i could agree. Lynyrd Skynyrd was awesome and would have been the best if they all lived longer.

The Fray- Over my head

but dont do it for too long or else you'll want to shoot yourself :D

and you cant criticize me!!! im just deaf :D

oh i meant to say "no particular band" but yeah whatever lol

don't deaf people have hearing aids? i thought with hearing aids you could actually hear thigns.

hearing aids only work for some people- im very fortunate that they work for me

but they really only make things louder- i can't always understand things (i.e. i can't listen to the radio or use the phone because while i will hear some sound, i wont be able to understand the words)

and that is why people have to face me when they talk to me so i can lipread them

so for me music is more about the sound than the lyrics.. sometimes i dont even know what language the songs i listen to are in... lol its pretty sad

I listen to all kinds of music, but I've recently been watching tons of anime, so I had to download entire OST's of all the anime's I'm watching.
