<p>I like...well, all the bands you said, dude. I've been kind of branching out my tastes lately and now I'm pretty much into everything within the "rock" spectrum from punk (like...real punk, not Good Charlotte crap) to indie to classic rock. :D</p>

<p>I listen to almost everything...I like whats popular (Destinys Child, Usher, 50 cent, christina aguilera, britney spears, jay-z, maroon 5, ciara, good charlotte (haha juba2jive), ashlee-jessica simpson, etc etc) ---As you can see I'll listen to anything.</p>
<p>The only stuff I really hate is what starry listens to, rap and country (with the exception of Johnny Cash, Johnny Cash is the man).
Only stuff I like that's been made post-1995 really is RHCP and Radiohead.</p>

<p>thedude3, your taste for music is wonderful! I am also a great fan of 60s and 70s rock, especially Doors, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Beatles. I think that nowadays there arent many people keen on that kind of music (at least not where i live:) )</p>

and then throw in some punk (the distillers, the misfits), metal (kittie, opeth), grunge (soundgarden, alice in chains), musical soundtracks (i try to get them from every show i've seen and/or worked on), classical (tchaikovsky, beethoven), industrial (KMFDM), techno-y (depeche mode, london after midnight)</p>
<p>and voila. my music taste. which is rather eccentric if you think about it...:)</p>

<p>some favorites- belle and sebastian, the beatles, elliott smith, death cab for cutie, modest mouse, the decemberists, radiohead, the postal service, the shins, the stills...and the list goes on, but that should give you an idea.</p>

<p>variety of rock, including metal, punk, classic, mainstream stuff, just listen to the Empire Records soundtrack, i like pretty much everything on that, then i listen to musicals, movie soundtracks (like lord of the rings, master and commander, parts of the time machine, nightmare before christmas, and some other stuff), then modern instrumental things like trans-siberian orchestra, turtle island quartet, apocalyptica, classical, mostly cello stuff since i'm a cellist. i seem to have a pretty strange mix.</p>
<p>the stones, the clash, the ramones, nirvana, the strokes, ACDC, lots of other metal. rock in general. im up for anything else too, but late 70s and 80s rock is really where its at for me. I cant ***ing stand the Who, the grateful dead, and after looking at ieatglue's list, Phish. Not a huge Beatles fan. All their songs sound the same and my dislike might have something to do with the fact that for the first two months of my job, the same beatles CD was played every single day without fail.</p>
<p>dcfc, postal service, modest mouse, bright eyes, pavement, elliott smith, the killers, snow patrol, ted leo/rx, the shins, belle/sebastian, radiohead, azure ray, interpol, rilo kiley, stellastarr, walkmen, weezer, JAYZ (my favorite), r kelly, beyonce, justin timberlake, wyclef, damien rice, ben harper, jack johnson, nick drake, john mayer, badly drawn boy, sondre lerche, ben kweller, ben folds, phantom planet, straylight run, dashboard confessional, cake, rooney, iron and wine, coldplay, g love, the doors, (old) cream, beatles, hendrix, something corporate, saves the day, unwritten law, tilly and the wall, broken social scene, yeah yeah yeahs, pedro the lion, q not u, the streets, spoon, the faint, and that's only the beginning...i could go on and on.</p>
