What news lately seems crazy to you?

This seems crazy to me:

https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2023/10/03/philadelphia-bikers-assault-car-windshield-police-mh-jg-orig.cnn

Why did this man decide to climb onto the rear windshield or a random car and stomp it to pieces? Thank goodness the kids in the back seat weren’t injured.

A bit more information regarding this incident is here. It is absolutely crazy.

That mom is both very brave to get out and confront the biker and extremely lucky that it didn’t end in a tragedy given what could have transpired. I hope they get the person responsible and he is held fully accountable for all of his actions.

Crazier and crazier!

Good. I see it reported elsewhere that his employer turned him in. Looks like bail is set at 10% of 2.5 million. What a piece of $#1&. Apparently was part of a large group of mostly illegal bike riders out running around the city streets.

I’m a hard no on this.

From the AP link:

“This arrest will send a message that this will not be tolerated…”

Does he know this is Philly he’s talking about? lol

I think it’s crazy that Pamela Anderson not wearing a face full of makeup at Paris Fashion Week is all over the news. Nothing against her and I think she is beautiful, but “courageous “? I just don’t think a woman not wearing makeup should be a news story.

I can’t believe the whole Traylor thing. And his mom is all over tv. This morning, I got to hear about the snacks she carries in her bag. Honestly, i find myself shaking my head more and more all the time.

Yeah, hearing about her carrying a bunch of Kind bars in her purse is not exactly must see TV!

This blew my mind. I didn’t think it was a real news item when I read the headline. Scary! And glad she’s ok!

The video of that incident is so enraging. For some reason, it’s hard for me to imagine that there are actually people that are that evil.

Believe it. And also know that there are people that advocate for light sentences on such behavior.

What’s weird about this story at UVA too is the lack of info about the alleged abductor. A 40 year old man (married apparently) goes hours away from his home and tries to abduct a student. Does he have a criminal record, has he done anything like this before? How’d they find him? Just not much info that I can see. But, thank goodness he was stopped, thanks to a professor who heard a commotion, and the student herself who was able to get away from her abductor.

My local paper link had a bit more. He actually was charged with something similar before in 2008 in Faquier county. But led to a mistrial and a lesser charge. Sentenced to 12 months.

And it said he was in a contractor van that’s doing construction work in the general area.

Thanks. I’ve googled it as recently as this afternoon and couldn’t any substantial update about his background.
