What else are we supposed to get after we send in our intent to enroll form? Also, how exactly do we choose our classes?

They mail you a confirmation letter after they receive your form. Then mid-May they're supposed to send us additional info - like our ID/Pass for registering classes, email addresses, etc.

Do housing forms come around mid-May too? And registration times?

If you look at your Duke acceptance package, there's chart with all the information on it with dates and deadlines. I have it pinned to my wall for easy access right now. And yes, housing info is mid-May too.

What albedo22 says is very important - look at your Duke acceptance package and make certain you have the dates on your calendar. You will receive a large packet with lots of information in it very soon. Also, take a look at the board for Duke 2010 - there are a lot of similar concern. There is also a thread on how to get your Duke e-mail address. Don't know if it works this year, but you might give it a try:

Once you get your Duke e-mail account you will have access to the on line system which has a section showing what you need to complete. The housing form and registration are on line.

My D met one student who completely missed on line registration! There are also due dates for the vaccination form which requires proof of vaccination from your doctor.

For the photo ID you need to submit a passport size photo and send it in by the due date so you can pick up your student ID the first week of orientation. Otherwise you have to queue up to get your photo taken and pick your card up later.

All of this information is in your packet you will receive. So, you'll have to organize the material you receive and make certain you meet the due dates.

Good luck!

Enteril: housing applications are completely online and will probably be available mid-June.

Ooo, thanks for the photo ID info Westcoastmon!

The photo for the ID should be passport size.

You will also need to submit another photo - small senior year photo - for a Class of 2011 Directory that is free. The directory is paid for by the Duke Alumni Association and is handy to have - you can look up students from your state and their NetId is included so you can send them e-mails.

There will be a time during Orientation Week to pick up the Class of 2011 Directory.
