Thanks so much for your help!

Ahh, yeah. Shipping something like a fridge home has got to cost an arm and leg, huh. I wonder if you get reimbursed by flooded storageplaces.

hehe your welcome! I obsessed a bit about college "stuff" too so it's fun to share what I've learned. You do not get reimbursed for flooded stuff unless it's under your own personal homeowners policy. Usualy when you get a storage thing they make you sign something to the effect of a release of liability for your stuff.

And yes, shipping a fridge home would probably cost as much as the fridge itself. Thats why some people rent them. You can rent a microwave/fridge combo and they'll have it waiting for you in the room when you get there. The only thing is the rental fee is only a bit less than it woukd cost to just buy one.

Another option is if you make any really excellent friends at school who live locally and would let you store some stuff at their house, but you can't count on that happening.

WHAT, that's dumb. I guess I'd just have to find one on a hill or something, then.

Yike. Hmm...storage sounds like a good idea. Or the friends option.

bout the fridges.... Lots of the girl rooms on my floor with fridges wish we hadnt brought them, or at least think they are useless. Guys on the otherhand...Guy fridges are stuffed full of cans (soda and otherwise) bottles (juice and otherwise), pizza, water, food, just lots of stuff. I personally have used the fridge to store like, A bottle of water and A bag of M&Ms I wanted to chill... I could have just stuck that stuff on the windowsill ... which I did with later waters and chocolates... ah minnesota winters
Moral of the story is... I highly reccomend fridges for guys and I suggest girls don't need one, its easier to see which of your guy friends have them and ask to use theirs if you need it. use the space for stackable storage or something else clothes related...you can never have enough clothing space.

Wow so many shoes lol. I usually only wear one even though my mom buys lots of shoes for herself and sometimes buy me a couple. Iv worn my pair of Reeboks for like 9 month now. How do you use so many shoes? O.o" I usually have 2 pairs of new sneakers and a dress shoe for emergencies (formal stuff or if shoe gets wet). But thats it.

Lix...I love you. You sound just like me...lol
