well, I don't want to disclose the FA letter info cuz I dont want to jinx it since it's liable to change.

Oh, and Atticus, the envelope includes a sticker.

well, I don't want to disclose the FA letter info cuz I dont want to jinx it since it's liable to change.

Oh, and Atticus, the envelope includes a sticker.

sticker?> as in the car decal thing that says like"stanford mom" or something?
so was the FA letter good? are you gonna have to strip now or can you still celebrate at the local hilton?

hahaha, well, lets just say my mom could buy a brand new Lexus to house the sticker.

Holy ****. Wow, I wish my FA statement is as generous. Can't wait for the decal either, lol.

where's my letter!! i'm getting a little paranoid. did all the CA people get your letters? I've got nothing! except hte new victoria secrets catalogue. yum. kept me warm

Oh damn, I had no idea we were getting the FA stuff with our acceptance letters. I've been telling everyone that the FA stuff comes in March.

I'm a third year grad student, so I can answer some general questions about Stanford, although I probably don't know too much about undergrad life in general. Almost everyone on campus has a bike, since the campus is too large to walk around, especially if you go between the Engineering buildings and East Campus housing. Motorcycles are not allowed on campus, and golf carts are technically only allowed for disabled people, but some people buy their own golf carts to drive around campus. It's pretty sick.

first of all, congrats to everyone! secondly, none of you should be complaining about getting your letters..I'm all the way in Lahore and its going to take AT LEAST half a month to get here.

im_blue, is it true that a lot of people get their bikes stolen lol?

Haha, that golf cart idea is amazing, im_blue. I'm totally going to look into that.

Admit weekend is the weekend before AP Exams isn't it? My teachers'll love me for missing those 2 days I bet. We gotta do a meet-up for the people who are coming.

I agree on the AP thing - which ones are you all taking?

Stats, French (maybe), English Lit, and Physics

I could use a study partner for Physics - is it Physics B or C?

Mine is C.

I also have Bio, Calc BC, and possibly Spanish.

english lit, english comp, calc ab, euro, latin (vergil or poetry) maybe

English Lit, Calc AB, Physics C (DEATH), Art History

And my senior masterpiece will be due for Art Studio. (Since I'm not doing an AP portfolio.)

ENglish lit, calc BC (TORTURE + DEATH), psychology, GOvt, Biology!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh

although i'm tempted to give up... colleges don't care about AP scores, do they? and we're already in...

Physics AB............ I need to look up Stanford's AP policy and see if it's worth it though, this kid who got in last year was complaining about not getting credits.

^Stanford is very stingy with credits. I think only Calc and Physics will earn me anything.
