What % of aid is available for International Students at Top Universities?

I’ll guess on this one. I do NOT believe colleges put money in reserve for international students, and they don’t reserve money for specific countries. I suppose it is possible that there is an endowed scholarship SOMEWHERE specific to a country, but that is not a typical thing at all colleges.

Re the %age of students who receive aid…this varies wildly by college. You can check the Common Data Set for each school to see %ages from past admissions years.

You also should check to see IF the colleges provide aid to international students. MANY do not, some provide very limited aid, and some provide the same aid as for other accepted students.

You probably also want to see if a school is need blind for admissions. If they are NOT need blind, you financial need will be considered when your application for admission is considered.

And lastly, the VAST majority of colleges do not guarantee to meet the full need for all accepted students. The ones that DO are highly competitive for admissions, with acceptance rates under 10%.
