What % of deferred applicants........

were eventually accepted last year ? Thanks.

i think the number is around 15%

and to all of those who arent serious about Gtown, please withdraw your app and give the rest of us a shot! (ok just my overly selfish side talking. sorry)

BUT the acceptance rate for the EA round was 18% so you still have a good shot!

My deferrence letter (eek) said:
"In recent years approximately 10% of the applicants deferred under the Early Action plan have been accepted in April."

If I was a betting woman I would bet that number will remain roughly the same this April.

good-bye Gtown...

Any idea what we can do to boost our chances regular decision? Or how much first semester grades play in? I'm taking the hardest courseload available, with 7 AP's, so my grades are..meh.

(And I'm blaming my deferral on Harvard/Princeton/UVA because they got rid of Early. Heh.)

i am also blaming my deferral on those schools taking away early! DAMN U SCHOOLS!

i emailed my interviewer asking for adivce on wat to do in to increase chances of getting in regular, cause he was deferred too.

and i also agree, if ur not going to go to Gtown, DONT GO AND WITHDRAW UR APPLICATION. some of us REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go there!

" I have already sent my recommendation.

Good luck and Happy Holidays!"

thanks for the advice interviewer...
