What % of kids at your school go to college?

I was just wondering what the percentage of kids who go to 4 year and 2 year colleges at your schools were.

At my school it is 35% to 4 year colleges and 51% to 2 year colleges.

I’m not sure of the amount that go, but 100% are accepted to an institution of higher education.

I don’t know about my entire school but those in my magnet program of about 150 students total, close to 100% every year go to college.

I think mine is like 99%

YOUR MOM GOES TO COLLEGE!

-Sorry, it’s late and I’m watching Napoleon Dynamite in another window.

38% to 4-yrs, 52% to 2 yrs

^nice numbers

All the kids at my school go to UCLA.

98% go to college
1% goes to military/other services
1% travels abroad or quits completely

99% go to college. I live in India. If you don’t go to college, then you are a nobody over here.

^ same. it’s been 100% or the occasional odd one out who does a gap year (of course, after being accepted into a college and planning to go the following year)

My school doesn’t keep statistics, but I would say that something about 50-60% go to a 4 year school, 30-40% go to a community college, and 10% don’t go to college (I doubt more than 10% of those go into the military). However the drop out rate is very low here (probably less than 5%, definitely less than 10%), so the stats don’t reflect the strength of the school as well as a school with a higher dropout rate.

100% go to 4 year colleges. the idea is that, if your parents are paying this much to send you to a private school, you are going to college.

We’re 99%, but that number is a little misleading, because it’s always usually just like 1 person out of 200. (99.5%) ;)

100% go to college.

I go to a new, private high school (first graduating class was around 4 years ago).

@slightmanifesto do you go to a private school? that’s interesting…my school makes everyone apply/go to college. Partially because of parental pressure, and partially because they have a reputation to keep haha
they need to be able to say that “100% of our graduates go to accredited 4 year universities…”

I think ours is around 70-80 go to college.

Same here.

I think we say 100%, but I know that one guy last year just moved to Denmark and got married. And another girl the year before joined the ballet. So probably more like 98% to four years.

For the 14th best (public) High School in the nation, according to USN, you’d think it would be 100. But it’s not.

It’s around 98%. Out of my graduating class out of ~180, one girl wanted to try to become a model and one guy is taking a gap year (or maybe just isn’t going to college, I don’t know).

^Is she pretty?
