<p>Maybe its the operating system...maybe it's the computers...but we always have conflicts with Java and Windows. At home, I have no issues running Eclipse with Windows XP...</p>

I use Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther), but others use Windows XP, Windows 2000, Gentoo Linux, Fedora Core 4, Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), Ubuntu Linux...
What's installed in college is Windows 2000 and Red Hat Linux 9.</p>

<p>Oh btw Eclipse works like a <em>dream</em> in Mac OS X, for any of you who program Java.</p>
