<p>I am going to Texas A&M for a BS in Applied Mathematics (Finance Concentration) and I want to work in any sort of financial math when I graduate. I do not need to work on Wall street or for a BB bank right away. I am just really interested in quant-type work and also in trading and financial modeling in general.</p>
<p>What are my options for further education? MBA in finance? Financial Engineering Masters? Masters in Finance? What kind of jobs can I get from an applied math major? Is Texas A&M a good enough school(tamu is t-25 for math and remember Im not trying to work for Goldman or anything crazy). </p>
<p>Just want some advice if you think I will be marketable in the finance industry. Thanks.</p>
