What order do they see the app?

<p>I'm finishing up on my essays and wondered how the collge people viewed the application package. </p>

<p>I know it must be different for differnet schools-or even people-but is there any order?</p>

<p>And would they know me well enough to relate the things I've written in the application to the essay? (would they say, "oh yea, he mentioned this in this application," when reading my essay?")</p>

<p>Sort of tricky questions because it varies, but any patterns?</p>

<p>They will not look at your materials until EVERYTHING is in. That being said, each school uses its own system but is consistent for each applicant. According to "The Gatekeepers" book they list grades (noting honors or not), rank, SATs as general academics, then move on to other items...</p>
