I have to take Math II as a required placement test for the college I'll attend in the fall. My worry is that I won't place into the class I need to the scores I need are below:

Scores Courses
200510 Math 110 (algebra)
520590 Math 130 or Math 152 (pre-cal)
600-800 Math 231 (Calc I)

I need to place into 130 in order to keep my schedule on track. My worry is on the SAT I only got a 520 on my math. Though I think in general my math skills have improved since I took the SAT it is still my weakest subject (currently have a B- in Pre-Cal).

This is also on the placement website,

The SAT Subject Test, Mathematics Level 1, cannot be used for placement into Math 231. It can only be used for placement out of Math 110 with a score of 520 or higher.

So I am also going to take the Math I too so I'll have another chance to place into 130 with a slightly easier test (but harder curve).

I've heard that you should take the most important test first since you'll be at your best a the beginning of the test. However I wonder if going through the Math I first will make the Math II easier. Kind of like progressing from easiest to hardest or switch it so that the Math II is first (since it is the most important) and then go from hardest to easiest?

For my last test I'll also take the Literature exam, I took it once already and made a 650 and I want to beat that score.

So what do you guys think?

Also does anyone have any extra helpful threads they want to recommend? I already bought the CB math I and II book and I'm working my way through sparknotes.

Thanks!!
