Open Inbox, check P'Ton decision, go to my room and sit with my head in my hands.
A few hours later, go online, check Dartmouth, go back to my room and sit with my head in my hands.
A few minutes later, go online again, check Yale, go back to my room and sit with my head in my hands.
Harvard never even got my School report so that's out.

I was wondering the same thing until Nerd#### came along. Go alphabetical order! And if they haven't all come out as promised, then I'll do as Rikataka bid and use that "Refresh all" button on my Avant Browser (btw, Avant Browser is totally awesome, especially after you went thru ol' IE. Even Netscape and Mozilla can't beat it.)

I'm thinking of cutting pieces of paper, writting all the colleges names I applied to on each piece of paper and just put them in a hat and pick papers one by one randomly to check...lame I know but hey!

Harvard, then Yale, then Dartmouth, then have to wait until 6:30 for Brown. But that's the only reason. Otherwise I'd check Brown first, because I got a likely letter from Dartmouth and like to save good news. Of course, if I do get in (HIGHLY unlikely) to another one before then, I'll probably be screaming too loudly to care, just for the simple fact that new news is more exciting.

Harvard before Yale because I'm most nervous about Yale, as I have a friend who is getting his decision then, too. He's posted here too...and I feel the same way he does.

I'll do Yale, Harvard, Penn because thats the order of unlikeliness to get in, I'd rather get rejections out of the way. Then a little later Duke.

Hmmm... I actually gave very little thought to what order to check decisions in. AHHH, my #1 is Harvard (sorry, hehe) and I was about to check it first. Reading your posts, I've reconsidered my approach. I think I'll check:

Cornell first (highest Ivy acceptance rate of 34%) ;)
Yale (just b/c I'm REALLY curious to find out and think I MAY have a chance)
Dartmouth (b/c I really like it and it's basically my #2 school)
Harvard (b/c I was deferred EA and Harvard is my #1 school)!

And... worst case scenario: If I don't get into any of these schools, I have 7 awesome acceptances under my belt (including Amherst and Williams). After all, I'll still have to hear from Columbia and Princeton later.

Good luck to you all!!!! :D Wow, this is soo nerve-racking! ;)
