What other classes can I took?

Well since I wont be taking writing seminar freshman year, I am taking beginner swimming, multi 1920, they gave me 2090 for chem (but i got a 5 in ap chem), intro engineering. This only adds up to 12 credits o-o. So can you guys recommend me some classes to take. I am in the engineering school going for a pre-med track.

A liberal arts class. Or comp sci. I’m taking both comp sci and an engineering intro class.

Stay in chem 2090, unless you want to do chemical engineering or materials engineering, then switch to Chem 2150. You need chem for pre-med

You can take biology, if you want to get some pre-med requirements out of the way.

take*

What if I got a 5 in biology? Can I skip it?

Well, if you’re pre-med, medical schools generally don’t want you skipping introductory biology courses. I think there’s a session for pre-med students around orientation time actually.

@Ones: If you decide to skip intro bio, then I would suggest taking other bio classes later on. You will need to take a bio lab course such as microbio or biochem or genetics. You should also look at taking biochem, microbio, genetics, or any other advanced bio class to fulfill pre-med requirements. I would also listen to Islander4 and attend the pre-med orientation. The HCEC staff at Cornell is very knowledgeable and helpful.

if ur premed you’ll need 1 year of English. Why not fill that with the FWS?
