I was just curious where everyone applied and where they are going, if not UGA, and why.

Accepted: Univ of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Univ of Georgia, Univ of Illinois-Urbana, Georgia Tech
Rejected:

I'm probably going to UGA because of the horrible financial aid system of Michigan, although I have not yet received the package to state how much I would get for need-based aid.
UGA is basically a free ride because of HOPE =]

Accepted: UGA, Auburn, Bellarmine, Morehouse, Tuskegee, and several other HBCUs

no rejections...

I will be attending UGA in the fall...it's kinda sorta my parents' decision because I can attend wherever I want (I got a scholarship to all of my schools)...they just LOVE UGA for some reason...

I'm on scholarship to the University of South Carolina. I also applied at Clemson (got in), Furman (got in), and Appalachian (got in). I'm not going to UGA because I got denied.

Accepted (in order of notification) Boston University, University of Georgia, Tulane University, Georgia Institute of Technology.

Rejected: None

Attending: Georgia Tech. I've always loved Tech, and my parents love it just as much (if not more), so like Bluthunder, my decision is a mix of my parent's decision and mine.

It isn't just a clever name, I'm in canada right now.

Accepted:
University of Georgia
University of Florida
University of Texas (CAP program)
Mcmaster University
Guelph University

Rejected:
UNC (haha go figure)

Not sure what i'm going to do yet...UT is cheaper because I'm considered in-state there, but...yeah, I don't know. I still have a few more Canadian schools to hear from, but at this point there are none I applied to that I would choose over any of the American schools I got into.

Accepted: Uga (will attend), Mercer U (offered half tuition), Georgia State
Offered fee waiver but I didnt apply because theyre OOS (too expensive): Rice, Tulane, Miami U, and there were other undistinguished ones like Columbus U, West georgia, etc.
