how long do you think it will take to get down to san diego?

Hopeboat,

If these guesses are right then San Diego might see mail Saturday or Monday. Here in L.A. we might see tomorrow (!) or Saturday depending on if SC mailed early or late today. Mail within L.A. is usually 1 day, 2 days at most if sent early in the day.

Of course all of this is based on eager applicants read tea leaves! (But this does look promising!)

What are we going to do for fun when this applying to college thing is done? :)

Wheaty

update:

- Northeastern (3/11)

Pending: Pratt, Syracuse, RPI

Oh, Wheaty. Then there’s the fun of being waitlisted at some super-reach and wondering if it might be better to wait it out. And then the fun of deciding which college to attend. And the fun of figuring out housing. And the fun of contacting new roommates. And the fun of schlepping all the stuff that filled a huge room and closet at home and getting it into a dorm closet. In other words, the fun never ends!

Nothing against USC, but out of the 6 places where I applied, it’s definitely at the bottom of the list for me, and most of my friends feel the same. I’m a little surprised that everyone has put USC over schools like Berkeley and UCLA, but I suppose the UC system has taken a few hits recently…
